Getting started

Setting up your first email address

Create a professional email address at your own domain in cPanel, set a strong password and choose how much storage it gets.

An address like hello@yourbusiness.co.uk looks far more trustworthy than a free webmail address. Every Fusionhost hosting plan lets you create email accounts at your own domain.

  1. Log in to cPanel. You can open it from your client area (choose your hosting service, then Login to cPanel), or go to yourdomain.co.uk/cpanel.
  2. In the Email section, click Email Accounts, then + Create.
  3. If you have more than one domain, choose the right one from the Domain menu.
  4. Type the first part of the address in Username, for example hello or sarah.
  5. Set a password. Use the Generate button for a strong one, and store it in a password manager.
  6. Choose the storage space. Leave it as the default unless you know you’ll keep a lot of large attachments.
  7. Click Create.

Start using it

You can read and send email straight away in your browser using webmail, or connect it to Outlook, Apple Mail or your phone.
