Email settings for Outlook, Apple Mail and Gmail

The settings you need to connect your Fusionhost email to Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone, Android or the Gmail app, with the correct ports.

2 minute readLast reviewed 16 October 2026

You can read your Fusionhost email in almost any app. cPanel shows the exact settings for each address, so start there.

Get your settings

  1. Log in to cPanel. You can open it from your client area (choose your hosting service, then Login to cPanel), or go to yourdomain.co.uk/cpanel.
  2. Open Email Accounts, find the address and click Connect Devices.
  3. Note the incoming and outgoing server names and the username shown under Secure SSL/TLS Settings.

IMAP or POP3?

Choose IMAP. It keeps your email on the server, so your phone, laptop and webmail all show the same messages. POP3 downloads email to one device, which makes it easy to lose messages if that device fails.

App-specific notes

  • Outlook: add the account, choose Advanced options, then “Let me set up my account manually” and pick IMAP.
  • Apple Mail, iPhone and iPad: add an account, choose Other, then Add Mail Account. Connect Devices can also give you a ready-made profile for Apple devices.
  • Gmail app on Android: add an account, choose Other, then Personal (IMAP).
