You can cancel any service from your client area. Before you do, make sure you have everything you need from it, because once an account is removed its files, databases and email are deleted.
Before you cancel
- Download your website: use File Manager to compress your website folder into a ZIP and download it, and export databases from phpMyAdmin.
- Save your email: if you use IMAP, copy important messages to a folder on your computer first.
- Move your domain if it’s registered with us and you want to keep it. Cancelling hosting doesn’t cancel your domain, but you’ll need to point it at your new provider.
Cancel
- Log in to your client area and open Services.
- Choose the service and select Request Cancellation.
- Choose whether to cancel at the end of the billing period (recommended, so the service keeps running until then) or immediately, and confirm.
