Creating and suspending cPanel accounts

Each of your customers gets their own cPanel account, with their own login, files, email and databases, completely separate from your other customers.

Create an account

1. In WHM, search for Create a New Account and open it.
2. Enter the customer’s domain. A username is suggested automatically; you can change it.
3. Set a strong password and the customer’s email address.
4. Choose the package you created earlier.
5. Click Create. Send the customer their login details and your branded nameservers.

Suspend an account

Suspending an account takes the website and email offline without deleting anything, for example if a customer hasn’t paid.

1. In WHM, search for Manage Account Suspension.
2. Choose the account, add a reason (only you see it) and click Suspend.
3. To bring it back, return to the same page and click Unsuspend.

Terminate an account

Terminate Accounts deletes the account and everything in it permanently. Download a backup first if there’s any chance you’ll need it.
